Про Художника
Ігор Гречаник народився в Києві, Україна. Вихований у художній сім'ї, він із раннього дитинства захоплювався мистецтвом та малюванням. Він відвідував художню школу та Державний художній інститут у Києві, який закінчив у 1984 році.
Покликання Гречаника полягає в його здатності надати форму непроявленому і явити його в нашому тривимірному просторі. Його роботи прагнуть відобразити колективне несвідоме, черпаючи натхнення в езотеричних доктринах та античній міфології. Художник розкриває внутрішні, містичні елементи своїх істот, підкорених його волі, спокійні у своїй силі. Його багатогранні образи демонструють глибокий рівень художньої майстерності.
Покійний голландський історик мистецтва, поет і куратор, Герріт Лудінга, писав про творчість Гречаника: «Духовне, нематеріальне вираження має перевагу і славно затьмарює матеріальну реальність скульптури ... Насправді скульптури Ігоря Гречаника можуть розглядатися як символи духовної сутності ”.
Ігор Гречаник виставлявся у всьому світі та створив великі громадські пам'ятники, замовлені в Україні та за кордоном. Він є лауреатом престижних українських та міжнародних нагород. Його відомі скульптури принесли йому почесне становище одного з провідних сучасних художників у світі.
Останні роботи включають портфоліо 2D цифрового мистецтва, яке часто базується на його скульптурних зображеннях.
Ігор Гречаник є членом Національної спілки художників України та Товариства мистецтв уяви в Лондоні. Він є лідером творчої асоціації "Золоті ворота", заснованої в 1997 році в Києві. Він є видатним іноземним художником Академії живопису Юехуа, Гуанчжоу, Китай. Його роботи широко зберігаються в приватних та музейних колекціях України та світу. Він займає чільне місце в міжнародних каталогах провідних світових художників сучасного мистецтва. В даний час Ігор Гречаник проживає та працює у Києві, Україна.
